The Green Island
Zile Vèt means Green Island. We're working to earn the name back.
Haiti's mountains grew some of the best coffee in the world before they were stripped. Zile Vèt buys directly from growers, at fair prices, and reinvests in replanting and schooling.
A single bag helps once. A subscription keeps showing up, which is exactly what reforestation needs.
Since 1850, in the same mountains.
- 1850Néomie Pellier, “Grande Vévée”, starts the family's coffee trade in Baradères
- Early 1930sLumena Andris Bourjolly builds it on fair prices
- Mid 1900sLumena and her husband Weber Kersaint take it to European markets
- 2010The earthquake takes the family enterprise
- TodayEdwine Kersaint Victor-Louis rebuilds it as Zile Vèt

Questions before you start
How much coffee should I get, and how often?
If you drink two cups a day, every 2 weeks fits. One a day, go with 4 weeks. You can change it after the first delivery.
Can I really cancel anytime?
Yes. No fee, no email chain, no phone call. Cancel from your account with one button.
When am I charged?
Your first bag is charged at checkout. After that, you're charged on each delivery cycle at the subscription price.
Can I switch between Heritage 1850 and Gran Vévé?
Yes. Change your roast, grind, frequency or address from your account, whenever you want.
Whole bean or ground?
Whole bean stays fresh longer if you grind at home. Ground is ready to brew. You can switch anytime.
How fresh is it, really?
We roast in small batches and process orders within 1–3 business days. Every order ships from Miami, Florida.
Where does the coffee come from?
Our 100% Arabica beans come directly from growers in the high mountains of Baradères, Haiti. They grow under natural forest shade and are hand-picked by families who have cultivated these lands for generations.
What if I don't like it?
Because coffee is perishable, we don't accept returns on food products. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of receipt at (754) 200-3235 or Info@Kersaintgroup.com.
Where do you ship, and what does it cost?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and ship from Miami, Florida. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your address.
